The Best of the Forum

It will soon be fencing season again, and one of our AtlanticRiders has some questions. Can you help?
I will be installing a fence for our horse this spring. We are using cedar post. So I have a few questions: How thick should the post be? - is 3-4" ok?? Can I place them 7 - 8 feet apart? Can I use 2x4 pine studs for the rails? How high does the fence need to be? Click here to see the other responses and add your opinion.

Horse Quote for the Week

I pray that gentle hands may guide my feet;
I ask for kind commands from voices sweet;
At night a stable warm with scented hay,
Where safe from every harm, I'll sleep till day.

Horses in Unexpected Places

One friend has a "WHOA" license plate, another has "SADDLE UP!" It always brings a smile - and sometimes a wave - when we see someone with a horse-related slogan on their vehicle. Got a 'horsey' license plate? Email us a photo and we'll start displaying them on AtlanticRider.com!
