Hi, I'm 21 years old and am looking for a job in the equine industry. I'm used to working with stallions, green broke horses and with weanlings/yearlings. I usually am used as the farm "guinea pig" when we get new horses in that are lesson horse candidates. My long term goals are to coach and to compete, but need some experience in both fields. I am a very fast learner and a hard worker. I currently take my lessons at D&J Stables in Moncton if you want to contact them for references about my horsey skills. (NB)

Need Hay? Have Extra Hay?
The folks who bring us Atlantic Horse & Pony (as well as Rural Delivery) have responded to the need for hay in the Atlantic Region by creating a hay exchange. The information is included on their website, or you can call 1-877-354-3674. They ask that you leave your name, phone number, amount of hay or silage you have to sell or need for your stock, a brief description, price range, and if shipping is offered or required. There are other options for those wishing to obtain or sell hay! Check out AtlanticRider's classifieds for hay and bedding. It's a free service provided to anyone who wants to post - your ad will appear immediately. We also found The Hay Exchange, a site that provides a province-by-province (and state-by-state) listing of available hay.
Horse Quote for the Week
Halted in animated expectancy or running in abandoned
freedom, the mustang was the most beautiful, the most spirited and the most
inspiring creature ever to print foot on the grasses of America.
~ J. Frank Dobie, The Mustangs

Pink ponies at Ralph Lauren! For the first time, Polo Ralph Lauren has lent its classic polo player icon to a philanthropic cause - the Pink Pony Campaign. An elegant black cotton t-shirt with a dramatic pink polo player logo is a symbol of their commitment to the fight against breast and other cancers. Fifteen dollars from the sale of each t-shirt is donated to breast cancer education, prevention, and care.
