Rider of the Week

CaLDRA Announces 2000 Endurance Standings

In the program's inaugural first year, Earle Baxter of Crosshill, ON, was named Hi-Point Rider and received an award donated a Sky Hook Tether by Equine Innovations of Reno, NV. Baxter's horse, CH Devonaire, was named the Hi-Point Horse, and received an award donated by Julie and Ron Phair in memory of the incredible Tiffany Mae, an endurance horse owned by Dr. Rae and Tina Fyfe. In addition to CH Devonaire, who was named the Reserve Best Conditioned Horse, Baxter had two additional horses placing in the top ten in the Hi-Point Horse category. The standings...

Nominate Your Coach for a 3M Coaching Canada Award

Do you have a coach who deserves recognition? This is your opportunity to nominate them for a 2001 3M Coaching Canada Award. The nominee must be an NCCP-certified coach (level 2 minimum) who has made outstanding contributions to their athletes and sport. The Award winners in each category will receive a $1,000 coach education
bursary while the runners-up in each category will receive a $500 bursary. The winning coaches will be guests of 3M at the 2001 Coaching Awards Dinner where they will be honoured by their peers. All coaches who are nominated will receive a certificate and a gift from 3M. Want to nominate your coach?
