Judy Bateman and Hollywood Elite
Judy raised "Otie" from a baby. She owns her dam (Tiffanys Tebelle) and her sire, Ratchetts Ole Man. Judy has just started to barrel race, pole bend, and do a little cattle penning. Otie's passion seems to be barrels and poles - she loves it!

Canadian WEG Show Jumping Team Announced

The Jump Canada Selection Committee is pleased to announce the Canadian Equestrian Show Jumping Team that will be representing Canada at the World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Jerez, Spain, 11-22 September 2002. Who's on the team? Click here to find out!

The AtlanticRider Family is Growing Again!

O'naturel Inc. of Moncton, NB has recently become the Atlantic Canada dealer for Roberts Carriages! These horse-drawn vehicles range from practical transportation to the story-book Cinderella's carriage! Each carriage and sleigh is simply beautiful.

We also welcome the New Brunswick Morgan Club this week! This active group has a great website that highlights information from a calendar of events to a photo album to member information.

Country Riders Club from Charlotte County, New Brunswick joins the AtlanticRider.com family. The goal of Country Riders is to bring local riders together for fun events such as the ride planned for this month. Check out their website for details!

Galloway Stables would like to congratulate Erin MacQuarrie and Draxon on coming home with Champion Basic Adult Amateur from the Blaineville National Dressage Show over the week of July 17 - 21.  Draxon is owned by Dawn Helm, owner and operator of Galloway Stables in Port Howe.  Erin is now training and working out of Galloway Stables. Galloway Stables can be linked from the front page of Atlantic Rider for contact information.  Congrats from all the gang!!

Karen Cudmore Number One in WEG Standings

Following the fourth World Equestrian Games (WEG) trial held in Ottawa, ON, Karen Cudmore originally from Victoria, BC and now based in Omaha, NE, leads the race for a spot on Canada’s WEG Show Jumping Team with only 1.66 faults. Cudmore and Conejo, a nine-year-old Holsteiner stallion owned by husband and coach, Blair Cudmore, were able to cleanly navigate the challenging courses set by international course designer Robert Jolicoeur to maintain top spot with no faults during the two trials held at the Capital Classic in Ottawa, ON.
