Atlantic Rider of the Week
Bev Elliott and High Tempered Steele
are pictured on a Judged Pleasure Ride in the Scotch Village, NS
area. Bev has nearly 3000 trail riding competition miles; she also enjoys doing
some cattle penning with her own Arab/Standardbred mare, and training and
competing in Atlantic Canada Trail Riding competitions. On this gorgeous summer
day, she is riding a friend's horse which, if all goes well, she will be taking
to Maine in June for the Pine Tree 50-mile Endurance Ride. Bev has been involved
with horses most of her life, having had a prior 'life' on the Hunter/Jumper
show circuit. Rider
of the Week.
We would love to have your
suggestions for Rider of the Week. Please submit a photo and a description of
the team you are nominating. This can be done by mail to: PO Box 7305, Riverview

me at all but that is probably from my lack of experience and others will go
just like that. What would help me in getting better at this on every horse?
What helps you to get your horse on the bit? Wade in...
