Atlantic Rider of the Week
Clinton Lewis and Winsome Quixote had a great week at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in Lawrencetown, NS. After walking away with four cheques at the Baxters' Cattle Company Team Penning event held on Tuesday evening, the team penner and gymkhana rider decided to try his first Pleasure class. He entered his penning mare, Winsome Quixote, in the two CEF Pleasure classes and won both! He also placed 3rd in Western Riding, 2nd in Command, and 1st in Trail, giving him a six point lead... and a new cooler! Congratulations Clinton and Winny! Rider of the Week.

Versatility Ranch Horse Class Makes Debut in January
The Versatility Ranch Horse Competition will be multi-faceted -each entry in the competition MUST compete in all five of the featured classes. The focus will be on the all-around horse and being well dressed isn't a requirement. In fact, silver on bridles and saddles is discouraged as is hoof polish and braided manes. Dressage Canada Announces Team Administrator
The Board of Dressage Canada is pleased to
announce that Ms Kimberly Goodyear has accepted the position of Team
Administrator for the 2001/2002 competitive years. Ms Goodyear will work
with other members of the Team Advisory Council, the high performance
subcommittee of Dressage Canada, to develop and prepare Canadian dressage riders
for international competitions. New

2001 Swarovski World Cup Dressage Canadian League Standings
The top 5 horse and rider combinations will compete in the Grand Prix at the Swarovski World Cup Dressage Canadian League Final at the Royal Winter Fair, Toronto, Ontario, November 7-8, 2001. The top 4 placed horse and rider combinations from the Grand Prix will then go on to compete in the Grand Prix Freestyle. The standings as of September 17th...

Looking for pinto/paint mare or gelding 15.2 to 16 hands. 4 to 8 yrs of age. Should be able to walk, trot, and canter. This horse would be for a novice rider. Does not have to be registered but should be sound. Will be ridden english so should have fairly long stride. Will be given lots of tlc and will have stablemates. Would prefer no blue eyes but will consider. Would like one reasonably priced. (NB)
