I would like to buy a dressage horse or dressage prospect. The most important details are that it is an exceptional mover and is sound. I have been riding seven years, doing dressage for three, and I want to pursue dressage further. I am at a private barn, with all day turnout and the horse would receive exceptional care. I am a young inspired dressage rider who is very dedicated, with an excellent coach. I just sold my horse who I trained since she was three. I am prepared to train another young one or something trained would be great! Age, sex, and colour do not matter. I would prefer something that is horse-sized. I am willing to pay up to $6500. Something in Nova Scotia would be best. Lauren McGuire: jmcguire@ednet.ns.ca or 902-455-3114 (Halifax, NS)

Willing to be negotiable on price or trade for 15" Textan Western saddle. Excellent condition, dark leather, broken in. Jessica Pallard: jessicapallard@hotmail.com or 709-781-1313 (NF)

Horses in Unexpected Places
A whole new sort of adventure travel... ever considered traveling across the North? On horseback? POLAR LYS Polar Expeditions uses no engines in their explorations - sometimes dogsleds, sometimes kayaks, and sometimes horses. The weather is so cold that some of the horses work wearing blankets and hoods! Visit their website, for photos of horses in this unusual place.
