Chelsea Girrior and Sailing The Blues
Chelsea and Sailor had a wonderful show season in 2001. Chelsea
collected points from MQHA (AQHA) classes such as Halter, Showmanship, English
Performance and Western Performance classes. Chelsea also cleaned up at the
2001 MQHA Awards Banquet. She was awarded Champion Novice Youth, Champion
Novice Youth Showmanship, Reserve Champion Hunter Under Saddle, Champion Hunt
Seat Equitation, Reserve Champion Youth Trail, Reserve Champion Novice Youth
Western Pleasure and Champion Novice Youth Western Horsemanship. Congratulations!

The AtlanticRider Family is Growing Again!
This week we welcome two new websites to the AtlanticRider.com family. The Fredericton Pony Club has a lovely new website that has lots of information for club members and other horse enthusiasts. You can learn about their horse lease program, fund raising efforts, and see lots of photos of their members, horses, and facility on the site. Check it out today!

Chris Irwin, Natural Horsemanship at it’s finest
Chris Irwin has been invited, for the consecutive third year, to give a demonstration of his natural horsemanship methods and a 2-day riding clinic in the Maritimes. This event will be held at Five Elms Riding Stables, Dover Road in Memramcook, NB (near Moncton) on April 26, 27, 28, 2002. Find out more!

This clinic will be of interest to anyone wanting to learn more about ground driving, what to look for when buying a harness, how to harness a horse, how to introduce your horse to a cart, and how to hook your horse to a cart. May 12: Would you like to know more about the Little Horse of Iron - the Canadian Horse? The annual meeting of the Atlantic District Canadian Horse Breeders Association will be held on May 12, 2002 at Fall River Stables. There will be a Judging Clinic in the morning ($30 registration) and in the afternoon there will be a Canadian Horse Demonstration (including Stallion Liberty Demonstration) followed by Silent Auction and a Stallion Service Auction . This week we spotted herds of galloping horses on the back of a Road Atlas at a popular truck stop. The beautiful horses are part of a new promotional campaign by Caterpillar, promoting 'horse power.' Check out the lovely ad next time you're on a 'barn crawl' or other road trip!
