We're Excited!
Five years ago, AtlanticRider.com was uploaded for the first time. The site was small, classified ads were all entered manually, and the forum was a very simplistic MS FrontPage tool. We were delighted to see the pioneer visitors take tentative first steps through our virtual doors - computers weren't especially common among members of the horse community in Atlantic Canada back then. Bit-by-bit, our site - and your enthusiasm for it - grew and soon AtlanticRider.com was "the place" to go for horsey information in the region. Now hundreds of horses and pieces of tack have found new homes, many of us have found new friends (or rediscovered old ones), and we all feel like we have a 'home on the web' to visit whenever we log on. And log on we do - from home, from work, from school, and yes, even from vacation - we just had a lovely report on the forum from someone who was still at Dressage at Devon!
AtlanticRider.com has just had it's busiest summer yet!! We've doubled our classified subscriptions - and our forum memberships - during the summer months... and traffic on the site is way, way up. All this at a time of year when our visitors usually spend all their time with their four-legged friends instead of their keyboards. Many thanks to all of you who make the site so very popular!!
