Dressage Canada to Host “A Celebration of Dressage” Reception at the Royal

Ottawa, Ontario—Dressage Canada cordially invites everyone to attend a cocktail reception at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, Thursday November 12, 2009, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. It will be held in the Royal Ballroom, located on the second floor in the East Annex of the Coliseum.

The semi-formal reception will feature presentations to the gold medal winning Ontario Junior Rider Team from the 2009 North American Junior Young Rider Championships. There will also be a special presentation to this year’s Dressage Canada Owner of the Year and evening will include the introduction of Robert Dover, Dressage Canada’s newly appointed Technical Coach/Advisor for Dressage Canada’s High Performance Program.

“The Dressage Canada Board is looking forward to hosting the Royal Gala for Dressage Canada at the Royal Winter Fair again this year,” said Sue Rothgeb, chair of Dressage Canada. “The opportunity to visit with the athletes and supporters of the sport will be the perfect ending to an exciting year.”

The evening will include an opportunity to mingle with officials, owners, supporters, and a chance to speak with our Junior Rider medal winners as well as our feature presentations.
