The Atlantic Equestrian Centre is pleased to once again be hosting a Dressage clinic with Ron Postleb on the 10th and 11th of April, 2010.
Ron is originally from Germany but is presently based in New York. He has his German Masters Degree in Horsemanship (Reitlehrer FN). Riding spots in the clinic have been filled, but auditors are welcome to attend free of charge.
Ron will also be delivering a lecture focusing on using the correct aids in order to ride and train a horse in the classical system of horsemanship. Ron will point out the importance of knowing the purpose of an aid, what the anticipated response should be and how to deal with resistance.
The lecture will be on the evening of April 10th, in room 415 in the Sobey Building at St. Mary’s University in Halifax. The lecture cost is $20 per person, $2 from each fee will be donated to the Saint Mary’s University Equestrian Club. Doors open at 7pm, the lecture will begin at 7:30pm.
