Regional Development Coach
Ottawa,
ON—Para-Equestrian
Canada is pleased to announce that Lynn Marshall, of Chesterville, ON, has been
selected for the position of Regional Development Coach for the upcoming year.
Marshall will be responsible for working with development-level Para-Dressage
athletes and coaches in Eastern Canada to help them establish appropriate
training regimes and set long-term competition goals.
A certified Equine Canada coach and Medium status Dressage judge, Marshall comes
to the position with a solid equestrian background. Marshall has also
taught riding for the disabled in Australia and has served as an equestrian
coach in five different countries.
“With her varied background, we anticipate that Lynn will be a valuable member
of the Para-Equestrian team and we wish her continued success in this new role,”
said Elizabeth Robinson, Para-Equestrian Canada chef d’équipe and High
Performance Chair.
"I have been inspired to see how riders with a physical disability not only
manage their life concerns, but are also motivated to competitively ride as
‘best they can be.’ I am proud to be associated with Para-Equestrian Canada,"
said Marshall.
