Request for Proposal: Press Attaché for Canadian Equestrian Team at 2010 World Equestrian Games

Equine Canada will be fielding a contingent of both teams and individuals from eight (8) disciplines to participate in the FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games being held September 25 – October 10, 2010 in Lexington, Kentucky.

The disciplines represented include: Endurance, Eventing, Driving , Dressage, Jumping, Reining, Vaulting & Para-Equestrian.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from suppliers to provide media services in the form of press releases covering the Canadian Equestrian Team’s participation at the 2010 World Equestrian Games.

The formal closing date for the submission of proposals is January 18, 2010 at 5:00pm EST. All proposals must be submitted via email to Cheryl Tataryn, Manager Marketing & Communications, Equine Canada ctataryn@equinecanada.ca . Any questions regarding this RFP should be directed to the Manager of Marketing & Communications.

Equine Canada will issue a confirmation within 24 hours of receipt of any proposal. Respondents are encouraged to follow-up in the absence of an email confirmation.

Important Dates:

Issuance of Request for Proposal                             December 29, 2009
Due Date for Submissions                                            January 18, 2010
Deadline for Press Attaché to be in place              March 1, 2010

Equine Canada reserves the right to accept the RFP which it deems most advantageous, and the right to reject any or all RFPs. Equine Canada also reserves the right to accept the RFP as a whole or reject parts from the RFP.

All information submitted to Equine Canada which is marked confidential will be held in the strictest of confidence.

All prices must be quoted in Canadian dollars – taxes excluded.
