PLP Show Centre plays a big role in the annual Atlantic International
Balloon Fiesta

Sussex, NB - September 11, 2006 - Activity and action were the words used to
describe the scene at the Princess Louise Park Show Centre Friday through
Sunday, September 8th to 10th during the annual Atlantic International
Balloon Fiesta.

Two of the multi-use buildings on-site were taken over with displays and
demonstrations on many aspects of the forestry industry. The show, sponsored
by the Fundy Model Forest organization, was being held for the second time
in Sussex, in conjunction with the Balloon Fiesta, in the PLP Show Centre.
The number exhibits this year expanded and the group needed to use a second
building to house all of the activities ranging from seminars and
demonstrations to a children's activity area.

In the main Arena and other two buildings, the action was focused on the
spotted horses known as Appaloosas. The annual Ronnie Wilkins Memorial
Appaloosa Show drew competitors from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince
Edward Island to show the best of their breed before four judges. Classes
included in-hand presentations showing both this year's crop of foals to a
class where the winner would demonstrate the best color markings of this
distinctive breed.

The show season is no where near over yet at the PLP Show Centre. The
Maritime Quarter Horse Association is hosting its fourth and final show for
the year September 16-17. From Tuesday to Thursday, Sept. 19-21, the Centre
will be home to the annual Sussex Holstein Club Show and Sale followed
immediately by the enlarged 2006 Beef Expo from Sept. 21-24.

Sept. 30 - Oct. 1 the heavy horses move in for the annual Percheron Show.
Last year's show drew a record number of entries and this year's promises to
be even larger.

The final scheduled event for the season at the PLP Show Centre is a Drill
Team Clinic Oct. 21-22.

As usual, admission and parking at the PLP Show Centre are FREE! Great
entertainment for the young at heart of any age!

The Princess Louise Park Show Centre is Atlantic Canada's only dedicated
agricultural show centre. It is home to competitions, training clinics,
exhibitions and trade shows from early May through mid-October annually. For
