Kristen and "Princess Mia" Kristen began riding four years ago - when she was ten - and got Princess Mia in the same year. Mia is a 13 hh dark bay pony, and Kristen was determined to ride her well. In 2007, Kristen and Princess had an accident while driving: the cart flipped and Kristen was dragged. Neither horse nor driver was injured, but Kristen was - understandably - very nervous to ride or drive. But, she overcame her nerves and rode Princess again, starting in July 2008. The pair went to a fun show at Riding High Ranch in North Sydney, NS and took home a ribbon. Kristen continues to ride Princess every chance she gets.
