Susan Groundwater and Tulip's Tia Maria Susan Groundwater and Tulip's Tia Maria are pictured here at the 2008 Appaloosa Classic in Petitcodiac, NB. Susan and "Tia," a thirteen-year old Appaloosa mare, live at Orchard View Acres outside of Amherst, NS. They are a new team, since Susan bought Tia in May, but they have done very well together. They have successfully competed in the Amateur and Senior Horse divisions on the New Brunswick Appaloosa Horse Club circuit, and were Novice Amateur General Performance Champions at the 2008 Maritime Western Horse Extravaganza. They concentrated on Western events in 2008, namely Showmanship, Pleasure, Horsemansh, and Trail, and will add a few English classes to their show schedule in 2009. |
