Some sad Nova Scotia
ACTRA news...
We recently lost two of
our old friends. Nizzan, Pam Thornton's mount for several years was
put down August 18. Niz was a favourite with different well known
actors that rode him in various motion pictures. Lucy Rudge's
standardbred Mark Tabella was put down August 15. Lucy has lots
of great stories about the fun she had riding Mark, who came all the
way from New Zealand.
These great old
characters will be missed by all who knew them . (02/05)

proud!!
Over the weekend at the MQHA

| Muffet Khemo Sabi, a long-time Arabian competitor will officially retire from IAHA this season. Currently recovering from a stifle injury, we hope to end his career with one last trip to the Regionals. Foaled in PEI on June 30, 1979 , his sire, Muffet Rudi (a NY bred) stood at Ben-Adhem Arabians. At 23 years old - and marking 20 years with us - he has had a long and great career, with Champion Arabian Breeders titles and over 250 first place/championships on both Arab and Open Circuits. He has been our truest and most loyal friend for 20 years and we plan a huge celebration in his honor, depending on when he actually has his last competition. ~ Shelley and Nat Roberts (05/2002) |
